Backordered Items and Order Updates at PACT, Inc.
At PACT, Inc., we strive to keep you informed about your order, especially if an item is backordered. Here’s what you need to know about the process:
Notification of Backorders:
If you’ve ordered an item that’s currently out of stock, we’ll do our best to notify you when it becomes available again. Our team works hard to restock products as quickly as possible and will reach out with an estimated timeline whenever we can.
Credit Card Authorization and Expiration:
When you place an order, we authorize your credit card for the total amount, but we don’t capture the funds (i.e., charge you) until the product ships. If an item remains backordered for more than 30 days, the initial authorization on your credit card may expire, depending on your bank’s policies. If this happens, we’ll need to recreate your order. This might require you to submit your payment information again to reauthorize the transaction. Rest assured, we won’t take your money until your order is ready to ship.
Availability of Out-of-Stock Items:
Please note that some out-of-stock products may not return to inventory. If an item is discontinued or unavailable for an extended period, we’ll let you know as soon as possible so you can explore other options.
