Factory Calibration Procedure for "ERR 1"
If your BBK II displays an "ERR 1" message, you can attempt a factory recalibration:
- Ensure the scale is on a level, stable surface
- Remove any items from the scale pan
- Follow the calibration sequence shown in our ERR 1 Fix Video
- Use the corresponding buttons on your BBK II to follow the calibration process
- When prompted, place a known weight (preferably the original calibration weight that came with your scale) on the pan
- Complete the calibration process as shown in the video
If the calibration is successful, the scale should return to normal operation. If it fails, the scale may require professional service.
Power and Transformer Issues
Transformer Replacement Information:
We no longer stock BBK II transformers, but compatible replacements can be purchased from third-party sources with these specifications:
- Output: 12 Volt AC @ 500mA
- Connector: Female 2.1mm inside diameter / 5.5mm outside diameter straight plug
