Professional XP Chronograph (Pro XP) – Legacy Support

The Professional XP Chronograph (often called the Pro XP internally) is a legacy product from PACT, Inc. While it’s no longer in production, we’ve compiled this guide to address common inquiries and support options. Below, we cover availability, repairs, and alternatives for this discontinued model.

Availability and Re-Release Status:

• Not in Stock: We are not currently manufacturing the Professional XP due to globally obsolete electronic components. We’re redesigning the circuit board to address this, but a re-release is still several months away.
  
  
• No Scheduled Re-Release: There’s no firm timeline for bringing the Pro XP back. If you’d like to be notified when it’s available again, let us know, and we’ll add you to our mailing list.
  
  
• Current Alternatives: We do have other chronographs available:

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

1. Printer Issues:
   • Symptoms: If your printer lacks contrast or has stopped working entirely, the printer unit has likely failed.
   • Support Limitation: Replacement printer parts for the Pro XP are no longer available due to obsolescence. Repairs for this issue aren’t possible.
   • Solution: Consider our trade-in option (see below).
     
     
2. General Repair Inquiries:
   • Partial Repair Capability: Some Pro XP issues can be repaired, but critical parts are obsolete and unobtainable. If you send it in, there’s a chance we can’t fix it.
   • Repair Process:
     • Cost: $19.95 (includes return shipping and handling).

     • Manual Payment: Include a $19.95 check (payable to PACT, Inc.) with your shipment.
